B/R Live demo: A closer look at the sports streaming service

If you haven’t tried B/R Live, the sports streaming service that features a ton of soccer content, we’ve created a brief video demo to show you how it works.

When Turner Sports acquired the rights to the UEFA Champions League and Europa League for the 2018 through 2021 seasons, many soccer fans were surprised by the move. After all, Turner hadn’t televised soccer since the 1990 World Cup.

In another surprising move, Turner decided that the streaming coverage of the competitions would be on Bleacher Report’s streaming service B/R Live.

In addition to streaming all of the UEFA Champions League and Europa League games, B/R Live also features:

• Scottish Premiership,
• Arsenal TV,
• Spurs TV,
• Belgian Pro League,
• UEFA Youth League, and
• BVB World.

Coverage of the Champions League took another wild turn recently when news broke that CBS Sports had acquired the rights to the UEFA Champions League. However, their coverage of the competition doesn’t begin until August 2021, so it’s B/R Live and TNT until then.

I agree with everything you said. Turner Sports is not a sports channel like ESPN for example rather it’s just a name responsible for sports broadcasts which they have the rights too on various Turner channels. It’s a marketing tool. They earn more money from an episode on TNT or TBS then they would from covering football/soccer. Univision Deportes aka TUDN is a sports channel dedicated to soccer 24/7 and they have millions of Spanish speaking viewers in the USA from the Americas. I don’t expect CBS Sports to be any better, perhaps a slight improvement with limited games on TV, maybe a highlights show. CBS will also try to sell CBS All access their streaming service.

Frankly, Univision getting the rights to CL/EL has been a life saver. My rudimentary knowledge of Spanish notwithstanding, they have world class footballers, Stoichkov and Samorano, as analysts, and treat CL/EL properly.

Have not watched a game om TN, with the in studio clowns they have. And I don’t care much what CBS does or doesn’t do.

We have Univision, and for years to come, that’s all that matters.

Univision Deportes is wrapping up a full day of Europa League coverage plus a rewind of CL talling points and big moments from Tuesday and Wednesday’s games…with a side of turkey.

Turner, on the other hand… Turner Sports is a disgrace, and good riddance after next season!!!

The sooner Turner disappears from covering any soccer/football, the better.

And they can put their “streaming service” you know where.
