Hi Mike, not all of the games but a big percentage of them. For example, out of the first 3 Arsenal games this season, only one of them is on television (NBCSN, opening game against Fulham). The next two after that are on Peacock.
You’ll still need a way to watch NBCSN – either through your cable or satellite company or via another streaming service such as fuboTV, YouTube TV, Sling Blue, Hulu + Live TV etc.

Can someone with more experience please tell me how espn+ user interface compares with other sites? I’ve been a customer for less than an hour and am already annoyed.
First, I can’t watch multiple programs at the same time as a split screen.
Second, searching for upcoming broadcasts of my favorite teams is needlessly time consuming.
There’s a drop down menu to narrow the list by sport… why not add a “favorites” to that drop down. Then I could see upcoming games of ONLY my favorite teams across multiple sports with one click. Or they could show the broadcast schedule of the team if I click on the icon in my favorites list. As it is, clicking the icon takes you to a spoiler filled espn news page.
Again, I’m new to this so I’m trying to gauge how they compare to other platforms in this area

Hi again! I haven’t had any luck accessing France’s D1 Feminine. In France, I think one can access matches via Canal+ or Canal+Sport or Canal+Foot+ but I can’t figure out how to access from US. I know PSG and OL are the most popular, but I’d like to see other clubs’ games as well. Any ideas? Must I try a VPN?

i tried fantatiz and the quality is soo poor on bein sports. unwatchable on firetv, unfortunately.
instead of that i got the $60 sling world sports yearly deal which gives you bein sports for la liga and more. This may be a better option for the package.

Hi Edward, most of the Crystal Palace games will be on Peacock Premium. So if you get Peacock Premium, Fanatiz and ESPN+, you’ll have what you need to watch your favorite teams including Copa Lib and Copa Sudamericana. That would be $19 per month.

I haven’t heard anything yet. If it’s PSG, the games may end up on beIN SPORTS Connect. Otherwise, I would recommend checking with the official club websites to see if they will stream the games on the website or on YouTube (or sometimes their official Facebook account)

Personally I would not pay a dime for a service (given other choices) that doesn’t stream in 60fps. 25 or 30fps are simply not good enough for any fast-paced sporting event. Got the sub with CBS All Access (Commercial Free) for $100. All UCL and UEL games streamed in 30fps. Obviously in case of Europe, I have no other options, so either I have to stream illegally or wait for the game to finishes and then download, “Again Illegally”. Last I checked, neither Fanatiz, nor Sling offered 60fps. ESPN+ and Fubo both stream in 60fps. So, in order to get quality stream, Fubo for both Prem and La Liga is a must. To get all the available games without any ads intteruption, Pay $100/Y for CBS, $50/Y for ESPN+, $50/Y for Peacock, and $55/M for Fubo. If my calculation is right, total monthly fees is roughly $72 not including taxes. On a side note, I still don’t understand why NBCSN should have big ass ads and scoreboard! Or the fact that they randomly show MOTD literally 2 hours before the Sunday kick-off! Or showing the score ticker for 70 minutes! Their programming is getting worse and worse.

UGH. I hate this lie. Can you at least put a *YMMV afterwards? I live in a town of 100,000+ and tall, old trees. If you want OTA tv signals, you either need to climb on the roof and mount an antenna up there or build a contraption in the attic, and run cable down to each TV.

This illustrates a few things.
One, that many companies force you to subscribe to both their cable channel and streaming service if you want access to all the matches live. NBC with EPL most notably, lesser extent with ESPN and Serie A and soon Bundesliga. Further fragmenting what is already very fragmented.
Two, us fans of international soccer are actually lucky to have access to so many matches at a relatively cheap price. Do fans in Europe and South America enjoy the same variety with such ease?
Three, more personally, this shows how much influence regional sports networks have in keeping us tied to cable or full service streaming like Fubo. Without my addiction to local NHL and NBA I could save well over a thousand a year.

I had hoped that ESPN+ had kept ALL the Serie A on the plus side or at the very least haf it available on the Plus side while also on the Cable side. I fear that the Bundesliga will have a few GREAT match ups on Cable and not available on Plus.
As to the RSN i am/was a huge St Louis Cardinals and blues fan but alas im not willing to spend 50 bucks plus per month just to watch the local games and maybe 1 or 2 live channels. Ill stick now with the Hulu/disney/espn bundle and CBS All Access for all my paid content.

Yes and no. NBC and Fox prior provided great access to EPL via their cable/sat channel(s). They provided an avenue to get the remainder of the games for a fee. NBC is notably lower than Fox was, and certainly the streaming experience was better with NBC than Fox. Ultimately, being able to see every game is a premium.
TNT tried taking almost all of the coverage off of linear channels. ESPN has done this FA Cup and others. CBS is doing likewise. So you have to subscribe to the linear channel and the online channel to get the original coverage we used to get on linear. So you have to pay extra not for premium, but what you used to get with linear. It isn’t a lot extra, but it is nickel and diming everything.
NBC shows the Tour de France in entirety on NBCSN, but I can pay a premium for commercial free. That is a choice. If you want to watch Champions League pretty much at all, you have to subscribe to CBS All Access, a pathetic streaming service that needed a big hook to get people to sub.

Any idea if the CBS Sports pregame coverage on cable is different from the CBS Sports HQ (free CBS streaming online) pregame coverage and whether these two in turn are different from the CBS All Access pregame coverage?
Kinda confusing keeping track of all these different platforms! Hope they can consider consolidating all their coverage in the future and make it widely available to all. If their goal really is to spread the beautiful game of football (soccer) nationwide in the States they need to make it easier to access and ubiquitous across all their platforms, not hide their coverage behind paywalls which limit the audience/lower their ratings.

Pre-game coverage on CBS All Access will be different than any pregame coverage on CBS Sports HQ. CBS All Access will certainly be the way to go to get the best coverage available.

How about the CBS Sports Network Champions League pregame and postgame coverage? Any idea if this will be identical to/superior to CBS All Access pregame and postgame coverage?
I would have to pay an additional $25 to Spectrum just to get CBS Sports Network (ostensibly it’s for a better plan but I only care about the one channel, CBS Sports Network ). Can’t really justify doing that if the coverage on CBS All Access (which I have) is the same or better.
What do you reckon, Chris? Should I get CBS Sports Network all the same? Want my Champions League coverage to be as comprehensive as possible. Might just view it in conjunction with CBS All Access lol.
(I imagine both will be superior to CBS Sports HQ).
It’s only recently that I learned the difference and distinction between all three CBS platforms lol. Certainly not the only one to be so confused, I imagine.

Fanatiz has every LaLiga game. CBS All Access has every Champions League game.
For the FIFA World Cup, it’s every four years, so you could watch it on FOX or Telemundo at that time. The Mega Pack doesn’t include those two networks, but the benefit of streaming services is that there’s no contract so you could always switch to a different streaming service for the one month that the World Cup is on.

Here’s my problem with Fanatiz: it kinda stinks. There is no channel guide and that should be standard for this kind of service. But then the games don’t always show up under “Past Games”, making it unreliable for on-demand viewing. Today, I wanted to watch the French League Cup Final and it doesn’t show up for on-demand. Other times I have tried to watch beIN live and I just get kicked off the app. Plus they have no telephone support. It may be time to bite the bullet and go back to Fubo.

That happened to me too.
I sent them a direct message in Twitter and they gave the reason as it wasn’t part of their agreement. So the agreement for past games seems to be all the Bein Sports games minus some unknown amount. I do like all the Ligue 1 and La Liga games showing up in past games in general from Bein Connect.
Another similar option is Sling World Sports for $10/mo or $60/year. When I’ve had regular Sling Blue, you could go back in the guide and watch anything from the last 3 days or so. Don’t know about on SWS, the review here doesn’t show if it does or not.

Peacock will likely not be added to Roku anytime soon, but you never know. In the meantime if you get your internet through Xfinity/Comcast you can order a Flex device (their version of Roku/Firestick) from them for free to get access to Peacock. If you don’t get your internet from Xfinity/Comcast you can still access Peacock through the following devices: Apple TV, Chromecast, Android TV, Xbox, Playstation 4, and Vizio and LG smart TVs.

Does ESPN+, without some sort of streaming/cable/satellite subscription that includes ESPN, get you all Serie A and all Bundesliga matches? I know that it would not work that way for other sports. In other words, with baseball, college football, and college basketball, if a game is on ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU, you can’t watch it with only ESPN+. You need a full service subscription.
In addition, isn’t Fox Sports still carrying some MLS games?
My point here isn’t to denigrate this mega pack — what it does is great! But you’re missing roughly half of the EPL (by way of NBCSN and affiliated networks), a good chunk of MLS (by way of Fox), and (by way of educated guess based on how ESPN works) a non-negligible selection of Bundesliga and Serie A.

For the Bundesliga, the plan is for ESPN to broadcast 4 games a season on television and everything else on ESPN+.
FOX will have some MLS games (those can be watched for free with an indoor HD antenna). The games on FS1 wouldn’t be included in the Mega Pack.

Hi, Chris – I don’t know if your remember but B/R Live had extended highlights on YouTube up to 15 minutes form the UCL after the games ended. They also had highlights from the UEL, a little shorter in length but still great to catch up on all the action. I remember watching it at work. Do you know if CBS will have extended highlights on YouTube?

Replays of all 380 games for the 2020/21 season will be available to Peacock Premium subscribers. Matches will be available on replay after 9PM ET on the matchday and then for 30 days after they air.
Note that some matches that stream live on Peacock Premium may be available on-demand earlier than 9PM ET, but all matches will be available after 9PM ET.

Good work but as someone whose main priority is to see every Southampton game then this falls short. No NBCSN games included with this lot.
Got me investigating and it would cost me about the same to get NBCSN on FuboTV than it does with Dish TV. I’ll keep Dish. Their Hopper 3 box is excellent – even though they are rivals you can watch youTube, Netflix & Amazon Prime through that. Makes things very easy. Plus you can watch up to 4 channels at once on their multi-screen option. For a sports fan with a big TV this is very handy.
XBox to watch Peacock.
Can’t see NBC creating a ‘new Gold’ for *every* Prem game any time soon. Getting the rights was expensive and TV is still king.

Even being a Crystal Palace fan I wasn’t able to watch EVERY match with gold and I do not want a LIVE expensive service. Ill stick with ESPN+ and CBS All Access for all my soccer content.
