Premier League TV channel schedule on Peacock

Premier League TV channel schedule

One of the questions we’ve been asked the most since the launch of the Premier League on Peacock TV is what the Premier League TV channel schedule is. We’ve asked NBC Sports for the details, and here they are below.

If you don’t have Peacock Premium, it’s $4.99 per month. With it, you get exclusive access to 175 Premier League matches per season. And this season, more Premier League matches than ever before are finding their way to Peacock Premium (see the TV/streaming schedule).

If you’ve never watched Premier League TV before, it’s highly recommended. From the Premier League TV channel schedule, my personal favorites are Fanzone, which features discussions from soccer fans from around the world, as well as Premier League Today that encapsulates all of the latest breaking news oftentimes with reporters live from the football grounds.

Due to Premier League TV channel not being available on-demand and only live 24/7, this guide should come in very handy for viewers who want to watch their favorite programs.

Do you know when the Premier League World, Review and Preview shows are aired? The schedule above is a subset. It seems that the one-hour Review show is on Sundays at 9pm ET as I’ve caught it a few times then. Could you add it to the list above?

I can only view on demand pl today and fanzone is that normal ?

It looks like Headline Makers is more consistent on the PLTV schedule this season, with less PL Today

Hey Chris, do you know why The Analysis Show is not available on demand? Most of the PLTV shows are made available almost immediately after their first airing.

Peacock usually reveals it on a week-by-week basis so we don’t know the full season’s schedule for Peacock.

Fantasy EPL Show does just avoids the topic of Grealish and his injury being tipped by Villa players transferring out Grealish. It was noticeable that they skipped the player interview this week (asking players who on their team they would pick on their fantasy team).

I have a Sanyo tv but I still can only get audio through my IPad AC adapter. I thought this only applied to Samsung TVs ? Why am I paying full price for only a half a product ?

Karen Carney is the featured analyst on The Analysis Show this week

@Greg: which ones are you referring to?
It seems like the only one not available is The Analysis Show

Hi Chris. We are now in late February 2021 and Peacock still does not offer the main programming content of the Premier League Channel on demand. Any idea why? It’s very difficult to catch this channel’s programming live and it used to be available on demand with the NBC Gold Premier League Pass, which offered a much better viewer experience than Peacock’s PL Channel. NBC seems to have gone backwards with Peacock vis-à-vis the PL Gold Pass. They need to get better as there’s no longer an excuse now that they’ve been up and running for several months.

Is there a schedule of what time the reruns are. That would help some of us in the different time zones. Also what time is the headline makers. I can’t find that one.

    Thanks.

FYI it looks like they started adding replays of PL FanZone to the Sports tab today

Why are they so inconsistent putting MatchDay Live and MatchDay Live Extra on the channel after NBC goes off air?

  16. Edward

    October 2, 2020 at 9:12 am

could this be included in the dropdown menus or the side links?

I got to believe that on-demand services for that shoulder programming currently shown on the 24/7 ‘Premier League TV’ channel comes at an extra cost that NBC/Universal doesn’t want to pay for.. Their business model has apparently shifted some when they moved premier league coverage and combined all their programming onto Peacock. I will personally be surprised if we will ever see the shoulder programming we are referencing available on-demand on Peacock. Peacock has plenty of other Sports programming on-demand, including all the NBC sports network coverage of the premier league. This is hardly a technical issue or challenge they are dealing with. 🙂

This is very helpful. I just don’t understand why NBC would launch a product that clearly isn’t ready for the public. On-demand functionality is nothing new and was even available on NBC Gold. Not sure why this change was forced upon everyone.

is each day’s PL Today a new episode or reruns? if you’re able to get NBC to release a daily schedule it’d be great (with the reruns etc)

    • Christopher Harris

      September 25, 2020 at 11:09 am

Each day’s Premier League Today is a new episode. Only the afternoon editions are typically reruns of the morning show. For now, the schedule above is all we have and the best we can do.

      • Edward

        September 28, 2020 at 5:16 pm

So one new Premier League Today episode per day, but rerun twice in the schedule you posted?

Also, it seems like 8pm ET is when Matchday Live Extra airs on matchday weekends, and probably MatchDay Live before (7pm ET) that?

How do you access the premier league channel? It’s obviously under Peacock, but where?

Under the section titled ‘Channels’ on the far left of the navigation. And then scroll down until you see it.

So the Classic matches (previously on Gold) are no more?

      September 25, 2020 at 10:06 am

As the article says, “During weekday afternoon and evening, the Premier League TV channel schedule features a mix of analysis, classic match, and magazine shows, as well as reruns of the programming from earlier in the day such as Premier League Today and Fanzone.”

For everyone asking about on-demand functionality for the Premier League TV Channel, patience please. It only launched last Thursday on Peacock.

These were available on demand on nbc gold, when will they be added back in an on demand basis?

  24. Jesus

    September 25, 2020 at 7:10 am

Has NBC given an reason why these programs are not available on-demand? They were available on-demand on Sports Gold.

This is much needed. Thanks for sharing! Tough to catch most of this on the west coast, unless there is a consistent schedule for the evenings as well. I second others opinions that on-demand programming is greatly needed!

Thank you. Any word on what happened to Sky Soccer Sat 10-12? It’s listed but hasn’t been on. We have asked via social media & sent screen shots of the program listing but no one could help.

Chris… Do you when that one hour “review show” is on – the one that is a highlight recap of all the weekend matches (with play by play), which also includes post game Interview snips from the managers? It used to be available on-demand at about 7pm Sunday evenings on NBC Sports Gold. Thanks. .

    • Edward

      September 24, 2020 at 11:51 pm

I have noticed they have full match replays (of that day’s matches) with player/coach interviews starting at around 8pm ET, with an analysis show at around 6 or 7pm ET

        September 25, 2020 at 9:19 am

        Thank you Edward!

  28. Abdi

    September 24, 2020 at 2:28 pm

Any idea when will they be available on demand? Most of these programs are aired early morning’s here. I also couldn’t find the 30 minute Premier League preview show and the 1 hour review show. I think NBC needs to do better job for creating a full schedule and on demand as well. When I’m watching the programs I have no idea if its live or repeated. The Peacock experience has been terrible so far in my opinion. If they want to be successful, they really need to step up their game.

    September 24, 2020 at 2:23 pm

Chris, Thank you so much for this schedule. A step closer to making Peacock’s coverage of the Premier League more tolerable, since this content is not on-demand. Appreciate this!
