All times Eastern.

Since the introduction of the Russian Premier League in 2002, Zenit Saint Petersburg (7 times), CSKA Moscow (6 times), Lokomotiv Moscow (3 times), Rubin Kazan (2 times) and Spartak Moscow (1 time) have won the title. Zenit Saint Petersburg are the current Russian Premier League champions.

The league has three Champions League qualifying spots given to the top three teams at the end of the season and the two Europa League spots will be allocated to the fourth and fifth placed teams. The last two teams are relegated to the Russian National Football League at the end of the season.

Russian Premier League seems to have disappeared from FUBO TV network and you can’t subscribe to the Russian Premier League YouTube channel to access full games because it is restricted in the United States due to the supposed contract with FUBO TV. I wonder what is going on?

Unfortunately it looks like the RFPL has decided to stop selling YouTube subscriptions to the US (and Brazil) because they are close to selling the rights. This really stinks because I liked the YouTube feeds last season and subscribed to it. Oh well, I will just go back to watching bootleg feeds as I used to.

I noticed yesterday that I have a new channel on FuboTV called “Fubo Sports Network 2” and it has the following two matches this coming week:
FC Spartak Moscow vs PFC Sochi
FC Rotor Volgograd vs FC Zenit St. Petersburg

I set the DVR to record both matches.

Good news for Russian Premier League fans. The RPL is now on YouTube. They show 4 games every week now. The reason why I watch the RPL because my favorite Russian and newly-promoted FC Sochi. They were founded in 2018 during the FIFA World Cup in Russia. Excited to watch them and hope they won’t get relegated. So, The RPL is now on YouTube. Yes, you can watch Spartak, Krasnodar, CSKA, Zenit, and Lokomotiv Moscow on YouTube.

The United States women’s hockey team will play its second of three round robin games on Tuesday against the Olympic Athletes from Russia. The game between Team USA and the Russians begins at 7:10 a.m. ET and will be streamed live on NBC’s Olympics website and broadcast live on NBCSN.

One of the reasons I subscribed to beIN was for the Monday morning Russian Premier League games. So annoying it was canceled. There must be a way to stream it from some Russian sources? Any ideas WST?
    Go Spartak!

NGSN picked up the rights last season and they shut down last spring and we haven’t been able to see Russian Premier League games ever since unfortunately.

Any word on if NGSN going to start broadcasting again???

I was at a conference in Miami last week, and the word “on the street” was that there were several lawyers there looking for NGSN in order to discuss thousands of dollars in money owed to the leagues.

It’s likely that the rights to the Russian Premier League will be acquired by someone else prior to next season.
