As of right now, it’s Universo with Spanish-language broadcasts of all of the games.

Is the Westfield W League available in the US for 2019/2020 Season? Doesn’t seem to be on ESPN Plus anymore…

ESPN+ shows select games. For example, here’s Sunday’s game and two next week:
Sunday, midnight ET, Sydney FC vs. Melbourne Victory
Thursday, 3:30am ET, Brisbane Roar vs. Melbourne Victory
Friday, 1am ET, Western Sydney Wanderers vs. Newcastle Jets

I doubt anyone cares, but the Armenian football federation YouTube live-streams all the games. Also just he kpfl live-streams all the Kazakh league games. Dinamo Kyiv live-streams most of their games to their YouTube channel also

I subscribed to Fox soccer match pass, there is an opportunity to subscribe for 7 days for free. I checked the 2 Bundesliga matches and they are still broadcast with the sound of the stadium. I just want to clarify for those people who read the previous comments. At the end of the day everything is ok. It was free 7 days and I didn’t lose anything.

Flofc will broadcast a lot of friendly games, especially the British teams. B / R will show all the friendly games of Liverpool, not just those in the states. Is it true that goltv lost the Uruguayan league?

Thanks for the answer. In one of the podcasts, you discussed the possible future broadcasters of la liga and bundesliga.
Is it possible that there will be a new player from another sector of the market? For example in Russia this year there was an interesting story. The country’s main sports channel has lost its EPL rights, losing to a service that was previously known as a service for watching movies and TV shows. The sports channel offered a low price of only 5000000. This sounded logical because they now have no competitors in the sports TV market. However, the new service offered 7000000 and won, although they do not have a contract with a TV provider and they do not even plan to expand into the TV market. I look at the EPL Broadcasters List and I can see that in several countries the situation is similar to what I described for Russia. Speaking of access to every home. This service is associated with the main bank of the country. Two thirds are paid through this bank. The bank plans to make online tv as a bonus in its up.
Is it possible that services like Netflix will be interested in acquiring the rights to broadcast top leagues?

If you want to watch the Brazilian leagues, then your best bet is to get TeleUp. They offer Globo and PFC for $15 each or $23 together. They also have an app for all devices, and they’re in HD, which isn’t the case on Sling. A startup company called Fanfoot had supposedly bought the rights for the 2019 Brasileirao. Their website no longer exists, and details seem sketchy. Seems like the league might not have a US broadcaster this season which is too bad (although still better than Gol TV.

CONCACAF Champions League is not goin to be on English TV this year? SMH. Any news about anywhere to stream English in the US?

A year after Fox aired 146 Champions League games and 205 Europa League games across three separate 1080HD channels (FS1, FS2, and FSN), Turner (who owns TNT and Fake News CNN) will air just 46 games total for both competitions. This is a complete disaster for English speaking soccer fans in the USA!!!
Over the last 15 years, ESPN and more recently FOX Sports broadcast virtually all Premier League team games in the Champions League and Europa League across three separate 1080HD channels (FS1,FS2 and FSN)…
Americans who speak ENGLISH and those who follow the Premier League are now screwed…
Greedy Turner Broadcasting wants to blackmail Americans in to paying more $$$$ via a subscription fee to watch games on the crap internet instead!!!
In week one, Premier League teams are almost completely eliminated from US English TV broadcasts… Of the SIX EPL teams competing in Europe on week 1, only Liverpool will be braodcast on TNT. The rest are on the web or on some obscure non-HD Spanish language network!!!!!!!!!
To make matters even worse TNT has the nerve to feature Spanish teams Barcelona and Real Madrid on English Language network TNT, while the popular Premier League teams are relegated to the web or Spanish TV networks that most US viewers do not receive anyway.

Poor thing, you might have to stream a group stage match vs a non marquee opponent. Welcome to how everyone else has been treated over the years (group stage on ESPN3).
Just be thankful your precious EPL is on NBCSN and multiple matches a weekend on free NBC. Try being a Serie A fan needing ESPN+ to watch or La Liga and the carriage issues with beIN. You won’t find much sympathy here, although I do wish Turner would’ve used more of their properties to air more matches on TV rather than online.

Eleven Sports on FuboTV seems to have a small but growing smattering of soccer and rugby along with a variety of other sports, but not sure if those are full rights deals or just rebroadcast rights. Seems like they are picking up rights for events or limited tournaments rather than full seasons.
Curious to see what ends up on DAZN, they seem to be growing rapidly too.

So far, DAZN just has J-League and it looks like they’ll be adding more Asian football, but they have big aspirations.
I agree about Eleven Sports. It’ll be interesting to see what they pick up, if anything, after season starts. Right now, it’s mostly preseason friendlies.

Do you need to be subscribed to a cable/satellite provider in order to get a subscription to ESPN+?
Christopher Harris

No. ESPN+ is completely separate. With ESPN+, you’re not able to access programming from ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3 and other ESPN channels.

On Sling you can watch leagues from El Salvador, Honduras and Costa Rica on the Centroamérica TV channel. The league from Colombia is on RCN Nuestra Tele channel. All these games are broadcast in Spanish.

What is the quality of TyC and GolTV on fubotv and DirecTV Now, respectively? I read somewhere that the DirecTV Now spanish package has the same quality (SD for TyC and GolTV) for the channels as if you were getting DirecTV through the traditional way.

TYC and Goltv on DirectvNOW are 1080p 60fps. They look great on my apple tv. On fubo, they both are 1080p but at 30fps. The difference is quite clear. Throw in bein spanish at 1080 60fps on directvnow as well and you have a good service.
