Ecuador had the point and in fact had a good chance for the win at end. Ecuadorian player thought to much when he had ball in the box at the end instead of shooting.
Then Ecuador “fell” asleep on the counter.
Can’t say Swiss deserved all 3 points, I see it more as 1 point apiece was more deserved.
If the pattern of no ties (draws) continue, no team can lay back and try for one point only. 3rd game of group stage may mean little for bottom teams of no one ties. It last game would be important for top 2 teams as to who wins group.
This could get interesting.

What an incredible finish. Heartache for Ecuador, but well deserved for the Swiss.

The Swiss didn’t play that well. Ecuador allowed them to get the 3 and a win with mistakes at end.
But a win is a win and it’s 3 pts.

I guess my predictions are a little sloppy. Don’t have my Brazilian legs yet. Pick #2 France in a run away. 🙂

WOW the last minute was great. Kudos to ref for playing the advantage. Bad beat for Ecuador. All in all not a good match very sloppy.

Weakest group by long shot. Cant see any of these teams bar possibly france getting to the quarters.

Not sure even France has quality to get to quarters.
