Gone are the days when beIN SPORTS Connect was a streaming service that could be ignored. As beIN SPORTS has not only added more TV rights but has also increased the number of games it broadcasts, the amount of soccer games that are streamed live on beIN SPORTS Connect is at a record high.
If you haven’t been paying attention to beIN SPORTS Connect, let me catch you up on the service. The streaming service from beIN SPORTS Connect features 11 streaming channels. The first two are beIN SPORTS (English-language) and beIN SPORTS en Español (Spanish-language). The other nine channels are the jewel of the crown as they broadcast streams of games that aren’t available live on beIN SPORTS and beIN SPORTS en Español.
To give you an idea of how vital beIN SPORTS Connect now is for soccer fans in the United States, beIN SPORTS Connect will be airing 8 League Cup games during the next 48 hours and only one of them will be shown live on television (Barcelona and Real Madrid games take precedence this week over the EFL Cup). Those League Cup games feature teams such as Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, Everton and others.
If you’re a fan of Italian soccer, most of the games are available exclusively via beIN SPORTS Connect. If you follow French football, almost every game each weekend is available via beIN SPORTS Connect. Outside of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, most of the games from La Liga are shown live exclusively via beIN SPORTS Connect. And last but not least, if you follow a club in the Championship, you know that out of the games that air, the vast majority are only via beIN SPORTS Connect.
Where beIN SPORTS Connect particularly becomes vital is when there are several games being played simultaneously. A perfect example of this is during the World Cup qualifiers (both CONCACAF and CONMEBOL) that beIN SPORTS air. Particularly with the CONMEBOL games, many of the games overlap with each other, which must be a headache for broadcasters. But with beIN SPORTS Connect, you can pick and choose which games you want to watch without the concern of whether the game will be on TV or not.
beIN SPORTS Connect isn’t perfect, by any means, but the most recent redesign from last year is a lot more easier to use. The only stumbling block is that the current version of beIN SPORTS Connect isn’t compatible with the Google Chrome browser.
In order to access beIN SPORTS Connect via their website, you need to subscribe to one of the following TV providers: AT&T U-verse, Atlantic Broadband, Bright House, COX, DirecTV, DISH, Frontier, Hotwire, Liberty, Mediacom, Optimum, RCN, Time Warner, Verizon Fios and enTouch.
But if your TV provider (like me) isn’t listed above, you can access beIN SPORTS Connect via the streaming service fuboTV. They’re currently offering a free 24-hour trial too.

God awful app. Have to go through a byzantine UI, just to find the streaming portion, then a labyrinth, to get the match you want – only to have the thing seize up.

A few tips. If you are having problems with apps crashing, try closing out other apps that may be running. Also ensure that you are on a strong wireless connection. Remember also sometimes, to a full reboot on your tablet or phone to get a better running app. And…sometimes leave feedback because if it’s just plain ol’ buggy, it will eventually get fixed. But nothing happens if you don’t tell anyone.

OK I downloaded Firefox (as you said it won’t run on Chrome) and signed up for a fubo.tv account. When I log in to beinsportsconnect.tv using the fubo login, it just hangs at:
“Validation of your television subscription
Accessing your content in progress”
Nothing else happens. Any ideas?

Sometimes you have to exit the browser, log back in to fuboTV and then log in to beinsportsconnect.tv and it should work. The same thing happened to me, Paul. Second go usually works like a charm.

Ugh – now a 6036 error associated with Silverlight. This is way too much hassle. Will just look for a stream elsewhere Thanks for the help anyway.

I signed up for fubo today so I could watch Liverpool today. The only League Cup match I see listed is still Leicester v Chelsea, which is on BeIN’s cable channel that I get at home. Am I missing something?

With beIN SPORTS Connect via fuboTV, you have to log in to beIN SPORTS Connect with your fuboTV credentials. You won’t see the game listed on fuboTV’s programming schedule.
Your best bet is to make sure you follow the steps in the how-to video at https://youtu.be/tSm0zwYxybY
Derby vs. Liverpool will be on beIN SPORTS Connect as scheduled.

beIN is still bush league until it has something on par as ESPN 3. Replays make all the difference especially with the time delay. BeIN would double their viewership for connect if it had replays. BeIN in other regions has it, so I don’t know why they haven’t implemented in the USA. Then ago beIN USA has been managed horribly since day one.

To be fair, I’ve also had a similar problem lately with the NBC Sports app, at least on my recently-purchased iPad. Basically, the app just closes at random for no apparent reason, both when watching live games and replays.
Although I should add–and ask if this happened to anyone else–that when I went to watch the replay of the Sunderland-Spurs game today, the full match score and highlights and other info was all present on the screen–right at the start of the match! I checked the Southampton-Swansea City game and it was the same thing (which wasn’t the case earlier when I was watching it).

Only sad thing is the lack of replay! They do it for their French version. Any idea when that feature will come up?

Used to buffer a lot but nowadays plays very well. The feature I enjoy the most is that you can rewind any channel up to 2 hours, makes for easier scheduling on the weekend.
