Why Sling TV is the best bargain for Premier League viewers

Most soccer fans opt for services such as Sling instead of cable or satellite packages that have rising costs. Yes, those may provide more channels, but many people will not watch the entire catalog provided. Instead, if you’re like me, you have a handful of favorite channels that you watch on a regular basis that cover all the content you like.

Premier League fans are no different. Every Saturday and Sunday, we devote our mornings to watching top-flight English soccer, regardless of who is playing. However, we still need a subscription service to watch USA Network and NBC, two channels that collectively usually broadcast five or six games each weekend.

However, let’s say you are looking for something to watch after 2:30 p.m. on a Saturday or Sunday. Sling Blue still carries a number of great channels for a variety of genres. FOX News and CNN have news and politics, E! and truTV have entertainment and there is more than soccer in the form of TNT and the NFL Network.

You can also add on a sports package to Sling Blue for an extra $5 per month that allows access to a number of different domestic sports leagues. Soccer fans may enjoy beIN SPORTS, which broadcasts Ligue Un and the CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores, among other competitions. Circling back to the Premier League, Peacock is necessary to watch all 10 games each matchday in the United States. It is $4.99 per month, but there are opportunities to save even more on this combo with Sling and the Premier League.

For the month of September, the price of Peacock dips down to just $1.99 per month. Plus, and perhaps more importantly, subscribers can opt for the annual plan on Peacock for just $19.99. This takes care of a year’s worth of service for the equivalent of four months traditionally.

Sling TV is the best bargain for Premier League viewers. At $40 per month for a combination of Sling Blue plus Peacock Premium, that makes a lot of sense. And if you sign up for Sling Blue now, and then get Peacock in September for $19.99, the average monthly price for Sling Blue plus Peacock drops from $40 to $36.66.

Again, this is just for September, so act while the option is there.
