Fanatiz has the rights to River Plate vs. Boca Juniors games and other Superliga Argentina matches. You can check Fanatiz out at http://fntz.co/River_Boca

Hey, i struggle with the same. I’m american but was raised in Argentina and i can’t STAND the fact of not being able to see a River Plate game without stessing out, having to connect the laptop to the tv and MAYBE find the game somewhere. But i have a little help here for all of you, it doesn’t work ALWAYS but it does play River and Boca games when it does, the league and international cups.. FOX DEPORTES does sometimes on Directv but sometimes they show the repeat and not live..

Perfectly said Jonathan. Now I just have to listen to them through You tube. until I can find a way to view here in the States.

The games are available in the United States, legally: https://worldsoccertalk-wp.futbolsites.dev/2017/09/21/boca-juniors-river-plate-matches-now-available-us-via-new-streaming-service/

Last week on livesoccertc.com it appeared that River vs Argentinos was going to be repeated on FOX Soccer Plus as well as Fox Sports 2.
I could not find any information regarding this?
Does anybody has any info?

FOX Sports doesn’t have the rights to the games, so Live Soccer TV must have made a mistake.

Looks like Boca Juniors and River Plate are available via a new streaming service that’s available in the United States: https://worldsoccertalk-wp.futbolsites.dev/2017/09/21/boca-juniors-river-plate-matches-now-available-us-via-new-streaming-service/

Yeah guys im Arizona and i cant watch neither boca or river matches this sucks..the direct tv i would have too watch the games on you tube. Now with the new contract to fox and tnt there not shown on you tube. Man i really hope they fix this the Argentina league is an extremely competitive high level league. Amd nothing compares to the atmosphere it generates. The other thing is they “have” to broadcast it with the local Argentina commentators thats an art in its own with out it you kill the spectacle…our English speaking commentators turn soccer matches in golf ..its dead..the same for all other spanish commentators doesnt matter what part of latin america there from. The argentina commentators are by far the best .

From what has been said here, I should cancel my FuboTV subscription, as I wanted to watch Boca’s matches. I’m willing to pay for a streaming service that carries Boca Juniors games, but the only option I found was FuboTV, which carries TyC Sports, and now I learn that TyC will not broadcast Boca’s matches. Bummer!

TyC Sports International will air select Superliga Argentina matches in the US listed as ‘Primera División de Argentina’. However, not those with Boca Juniors ir River Plate, though.
I found this: “Viewers in the US will be able to watch games transmitted via TNT Sports, which will appear on DirecTV services, while TyC Sports Internacional will also continue with broadcasting rights.”
Here’s the schedule for this weekend:
Friday 25
8:00PM Banfield – Belgrano
Saturday 26
1:00PM Defensa y Justicia – Gimnasia
3:00PM Colón – Rosario Central
5:00PM Talleres – Lanús
7:00PM Independiente – Huracán
Sunday 27
10:00AM San Martin de San Juan – Patronato
1:00PM Atlético Tucumán – Godoy Cruz
3:00PM San Lorenzo – Racing Club
Monday 28
6:00PM Newell’s – Unión de Santa Fe

I don’t see a TNT Sports channel on Directv…

I don’t believe so especially if another company has the US rights to broadcast them.

With the new contract of the Primera Division with Fox and Turner, will TyC still carry the matches here in the US?
Juan
August 9, 2017 at 11:20 am
Good question. Who will broadcast new games ?
Oliver Tse
August 9, 2017 at 11:29 am
FOX Sports Latin America South and Turner Latin America has rights to the Argentine Primera in Argentina ONLY. They do NOT have rights outside Argentina.
TyC Sports USA (DirecTV Channel 469, AT&T Uverse TV) still has rights to the 2nd through 10th choice matches each round.
The rights to the best match of each round, el Clasico del Domingo, appears to have been priced out of the U.S. market by IMG Sports Media, which has handled the sale of international TV rights to the Argentine Primera outside Argentina.

What do you mean by 2nd through 10 games ?
Oliver Tse
August 15, 2017 at 9:27 pm
10 matches each week in the Argentine Primera.
The best match is Clasico del Domingo.
TyC Sports USA has access to all other matches, but NOT Clasico del Domingo

They haven’t shown any Boca or River games for years, and for years now with 28-30 teams, there are more than 10 games per week. It looks like this info is outdated. In the past couple of seasons, they have played a game per window EXCEPT games with Boca or River. (They do play Boca and River Copa Argentina games.)
