Thanks for doing the legwork on that for me. Been experiencing this same symptom now for a few months and CBS All Access works on my laptop which is Win 10 but will not work on the Win 7 PC. Here is the weird thing the clips showing the previews work but the full episodes don’t.
I had opened a support ticket but finally they just left a phone number to call after a few message exchanges came to no solution. Never followed up but totally agree with you that some moron decided to cut the Win 7 platform out. All my other streaming subscriptions work.
Here is my work around. I have a 27″ Dell monitor with 2 HDMI ports. One port is fed by the PC the other port has a Chromecast with Google TV connected to it. If I want to switch it take a few menu button pushes to switch the HDMI port. For sound I have to use the Blue tooth headset as there is not an easy way to get into my old under the monitor speaker sound bar. May be worth your while to experiment with the Chromecast with Google TV box, it is inexpensive, hangs from the HDMI connector and I really like it. In addition the smoothness of the picture when the camera pans is far better on the Chromecast with Google TV than in any of the 3 browsers.

folks, just an fyi on cbs all access, i had it last summer and it worked great. saturday, used your 1/2 price offer to sign up again. it wouldn’t work. seems they’ve “upgraded” and their website no longer works with win 7 computers. spent hours googling, on the phone with help desk, etc. finally, they say, “no longer works with win 7.” what million dollar yuppie made that decision? btw, i had to call and get a “full” refund – that took another 30 minutes on the phone hassling with the person because they’d been told to not let anyone cancel.
