The timing of yesterday’s announcement that Giovani Dos Santos had officially signed for LA Galaxy was impeccable. Less than five minutes after the US Senate panel hearing on corruption in international soccer had ended, MLS’ LA Galaxy changed the conversation on social media as fans and soccer media marveled at the signing, and discussed how MLS will award two more All Star Players/Bonuses in 2015.

So, we thought we’d take a moment to pause the morning after to look back and see what the US soccer media’s reaction was to the explosive US Senate hearing by reviewing select Twitter accounts for the people who cover the sport in this country.
