And someone needs to tell that idiot Rob Stone pronouncing Dele Alli as “Aaahlee” as in Muhammad “Ali” is incorrect, It’s Alli.

Lalas is so embarrasing. He sits there with a permanent smirk on his chops. He keeps trying to match the experienced studio team by talking total drivel. After Sweden beat Switzerland Martin O’Neill and Clarence Seedorf were discussing Swedish tactics and Lalas obviously realizing he couldn’t hope say anything worthwhile butted in with “let’s not forget the Zlatan factor” Seedorf and O’Neill silently looked at him turned away and carried on talking to each other totally ignoring Lalas – priceless!

Today insisting on challenging Wrighty wether he would leave Sterling out was pathetic. He’s about as knowledgeable about the game as Stu “I’m waiting for puberty” Holden.

Fox should fire Aly Wagner for using foul language. “Set pieces?” Really? She is using it so much even her male colleague started using it. I had to switch to Spanish language channel just to avoid hearing her incessant “set pieces.”

Stu Holden is unbearable. He’s absolutely terrible. I’ve never heard anyone worse. He’s always spewing something totally off. It’s amazing that guy actually played the game w the stuff that he says you’d have no idea.

Can’t wait for more “big drive”, “second goal” drivel from the robotic sounding JP Dellacamera. Say what you like about John Strong but at least he captures the key moments, like his “Cavaniiiiiiiiiii” did for that brilliant winning goal. Derek Rae and Aly Wagner are fine but they are not getting the final. They will be lucky to get a semi final as Fox will no doubt give one to the awful JP to ruin.

Why is Ally Wagner on all the England games? Cant they spare us for one match? Derek Rae is brilliant, but his voice doesn’t gel with her’s.

I agree with your…………….comment………….about Aly Wagner. Totally ruins every broadcast. I’ve been………………………………………watching English Soccer and World Cups going………………………………………………back…………………………….to 1974. I should never know the announcers name, unless they are…………………………….really good or really bad. Aly ruins every broadcast. I can’t enjoy any of the England………………………matches because of her ROBOT delivery.

Big FOX is featuring TMZ Live and the Jerry Springer Show instead of the World Cup. Looks like they’re trying to boost the FS1 TV ratings.

I know that John Strong is the commentator that Fox has labeled as their #1 announcer however in my opinion there is no question that he is easily the worst announcer out of the three. As someone who has been watching Champions league and World Cup coverage since the ESPN days I do value JP as a descent announcer, however Derek Rae is easily the best by far. Rae it seems has been given the #3 position by Fox. Although I am thankful that Rae has been given a position on the Fox commentary team, he should seriously be considered for the Final. His voice just gives the aura of a big game, and the way he depicts a game is magical. I miss hearing him on Champions league coverage, and although I am thankful that Fox picked him as one of their announcers it will be rather disappointing if average John Strong is given the final over the great Derek Rae.
