The International Champions Cup has world feed commentary but viewers in the USA get the ESPN crew instead. Chris Sharpless, Rob Daly from the Bundesliga world feed are some of the commentators for the IC Cup. ESPN will use world feed commentary for the friendly games streaming on ESPN3. I was watching PSV Eindhoven vs VFL Wolfsburg from the Philips Arena with James Thorogood doing commentary. He’s also a Bundesliga commentator. All of them I mentioned are great, listened to them many times watching the Bundesliga on Fox Sports.

Well for one, I care about Dortmund, so we cleared that up, which leads to my actual question, I wonder who will broadcast Liverpool vs Dortmund from Notre Dame?

Are some friendlies on other channels (such as Fs1/2 and BeIn)?

Why do broadcasters think that any Americans still care about Dortmund? lol

At the bottom of this page, It lists the FA Community Shield on Sunday August 4th, 2019 –
Manchester City v. Liverpool only on ESPN plus. 2019 Copa America Final not on TV either. Don’t be fooled by ESPN and their soccer friendlies this summer, focus on what matters.

Well as long as I get ESPN+ back by Aug 2. That appears when the English 2nd division starts back up. I think they start on the same weekend as The Shield.

Yet, they can’t put Copa America on regular tv.
    Telemundo anyone?

Such a shame Bra-Arg not on English-language TV. ESPN showing a documentary about hot-dog eating instead

Why so many on ESPN 3 instead of ESPN+…………

I love my DirecTV Now package…except for the fact that they inexplicably dropped espn3. I can’t watch many of these matches nor NBA summer league!

ESPN3 is usually available to your internet provider and not so much your TV provider. Go into ESPNWatch without signing in/authenticating or log out if you’re already signed in. The app should recognize your ISP and then you can watch ESPN3 programming. It’s a pain in the ass.
