Fanatiz lowers price and adds GolTV in English

Fanatiz, the over-the-top (OTT) soccer streaming service, recently lowered the price of their platform. This change, combined with the recent addition of the English-language GolTV channel to accompany the Spanish-language version of GolTV and all of the beIN SPORTS channels it includes, has made Fanatiz an affordable alternative for soccer fans in the United States.

Since October, the service has seen a 45% increase in their subscriptions. Before December 12, subscribers of the platform used to pay $9.99 per month. Now old and new subscribers only pay $7.99 per month or $79 for their yearly plan. This change allowed Fanatiz to have their best ratings ever during the December 18 showdown between Barcelona and Real Madrid. Even though El Clásico was on a Wednesday and the match ended 0-0, the platform had an impressive viewership for the match. Fanatiz saw a 61% increase in El Clásico compared to their previous biggest event. In total, 90% of fans watched the match on a computer or a mobile device which may have to do with the match being in the middle of the week during office hours.

By providing soccer fans with several channels, including: beIN SPORTS, beIN SPORTS en Español, beIN SPORTS Connect, Club De Soccer, GolTV, Gol TV en Español, Nuestra Tele, TyC Sports International and XTF, viewers are able to watch matches, shows and other forms of content from around the world. Fanatiz has exclusive rights to show LaLiga, Ligue 1, Superliga Argentina, Colombia’s soccer leagues, the Ecuadorian league, Peruvian Liga 1, Portuguese Primeira Liga, the Bolivian League, Turkish Super Lig, Uruguayan League and many other leagues around the globe. They also have rights to Copa Libertadores, the South American Champions League, Copa Sudamericana, CAF Champions League, African Champions League, KNVB Cup, the Dutch FA Cup, Coupe de France, the French FA Cup, and several other tournaments. The service also shows basketball, boxing, motorsports and volleyball played around the world.

One of the unique things about Fanatiz is that if subscribers are not able to watch an event live, they have the option to watch whatever they want on demand. They also put together compilations of the best goals in different leagues and offer highlights if you do not want to watch a whole match. Another helpful aspect is that viewers can personalize their content by selecting favorite teams. This allows the platform to provide tailor-made content to keep fans updated on what’s going with their clubs.

Fanatiz offers customers a 7-day free trial to view what they have to offer. The service can be viewed on their website. The application is available in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast and on Roku.

The platform was created in 2017 and has already done an excellent job of providing fans with some of the best soccer content available on a streaming service so the future looks bright for Fanatiz.

I’ve been disappointed that for the past several months, the Colombian Aguila League has not been on demand on Fanatiz. They say that they are working on restoring on demand.

I wish the Colombian Aguila League was in HD. I have tried to watch it on Sling, Fubo, and Fanatiz but the quality on all the providers is terrible.

It is in Colombia. It’s just that RCN International in the US is an SD channel. At least they are in 16×9 for the games now.

Dan, I checked with Fanatiz and they confirmed that the wstfz2 promo code still works and should not be displaying any error message. You may want to try it again.

How long was the offer good for? I just tried to use it today, and it didn’t work for me. If I missed out because it expired, that’s my own fault. Thanks for your help, Gaffer!

Thanks for letting me know! I just put the code in, and it said that it reached their maximum number of accounts. I’ll contact them directly.

If you copy and paste the code in, it’ll work. If you type it in, it won’t. Weird, I know.

Even copying and pasting didn’t work for me. Might be too late though?

Why is the streaming quality of LaLiga matches so poor? The streaming seems to be an issue for there matches and not as much for other leagues on the service and I have a good enough internet setup as I constantly stream premier league from nbc sports app and serie A from Espn + and never have issues! What gives with Fanatiz?

From personal experience, I haven’t had any issues with their streaming quality. I just checked it again a few minutes ago to watch Sevilla-Athletic in HD, and no problems. I would recommend contacting Fanatiz and seeing how they can help: contact@fanatiz.com

The full view is fine but the look of the grass while viewing the whole pitch camera angle doesn’t look pixel latted even. In. HD? Because mine does every time they show that camera on a 42 inch tv should I stream it on 1080 I or p will that make a difference?

You’re not alone in this. Can’t explain the technicals but streaming quality is definitely not great for La Liga using Sling. I tried Fanatiz and it was still poor (and no DVR/On Demand). Close ups look good, but wide angle looks soft/blurry. The better the TV you have the more issues you will see….. I have an OLED so I see a lot of imperfections. I think it all comes down to the $$ these companies spend on equipment. Take Netflix/Disney+/Amazon…. they have great PQ compared to Sling and Fanatiz. What surprises me is that a big company like Sling (owned by DISH) doesn’t spend more to bring us better streaming PQ.

The last time I tried it not all matches were available for on demand. Has this changed?

    • Monte Reed

      January 3, 2020 at 9:21 am

Matches on beIN sports are not available for on demand. All other matches seems to be offered on demand.
With Fubo dropping Fox Sports Regional and other channels, Fanatiz would fill in the gap from other providers if they had on demand for all matches or dvr option.

Superliga Argentina and Copa Argentina games are available on-demand. Remainder of leagues and competitions are not.

That must be a Bein Sports mandate? Fanatiz is a solid service.

Hi Christopher. I’m planning on dropping fubo and trying out sling tv. How’s the picture quality on Bein sports on sling tv ? If it’s comparable to fubo then I’ll give it a try for sure

            January 3, 2020 at 7:44 pm

I just dropped fubo for sling. I can not tell the difference.
If you want beIN Connect channels be sure to get Sling’s World Sports which is in the international section or spanish add-on. I have Fanatiz for GolTV English and Boca Jr and River Plate matches.
