One of the joys of watching Italian soccer is listening to it in its native language. With all of the games available on Paramount+, you can choose the language option. That is, if you know how to do it. To help, here are step-by-step instructions of how to watch Serie A in Italian.
How to watch Serie A in Italian: Instructions
1) Sign up for Paramount+, if you have not already done so. They offer a free 7-day trial.
2) Log in to your Paramount+ account. Accordingly, go to the Serie A page. To sum up, there are several ways to find the Serie A menu. Firstly, look for the ‘Serie A’ tile on the homepage. Secondly, select ‘Shows,’ and then ‘Sports.’ Thirdly, find it under the ‘Live TV’ section.
3) Next, choose the game you want to watch. Paramount+ automatically loads the game with English-language commentary.
4) The steps to choose Italian as the language will differ based on what device you are using. For example, when using a web browser, move your pointer to choose the audio option. It looks like a caption icon (see below).
Click the audio option. Next, choose either Italian or English (see below).
Other devices
Whereas, if you are watching Paramount+ on a Roku device, the steps are different. First, select the game, and then press the asterisk symbol (*). Second, choose the ‘Audio Track’ option. Last of all, choose either English or Italian.
Likewise, the steps are different on an Apple TV device. First, find the game. Second, use your Apple TV remote so that you see the options audio captions on-screen. Third and finally, scroll down to choose either English or language. Accordingly, look at the screengrab to see what the option looks like.
Accordingly, due to Apple TV remote controls being so sensitive, it may take a few turns to figure out how to access the audio caption menu.
In the meantime, selecting Italian on the Amazon Fire TV is the most difficult to master. With this in mind, be sure to select Serie A games only from the ‘Live TV’ section of the app. Then press the remote control to see the audio caption option. A second later, select either English or Italian.
As of press time, it appears that all of the Serie A games on Paramount+ are now available in English and Italian. As a result of Paramount+ featuring every single Serie A game, it is certainly the way to go. Try it on the next Serie A game you watch. Does anyone have any updates on this feature. I noticed it finally works on iOS devices. However, it does NOT work on samsung tv.

Thank you, I am delighted to have finally found this information.
I only wish I had known last season when I didn’t know that you could access the Italian-language commentary in this way. I thought Paramount never got around to offering it and I could never get any information from them about it.
After years of watching Serie A on RAI and enjoying the Italian commentary, it was a big loss for me when they lost the rights to Serie A matches.
After suffering through the English-language commentary last season – most of which is truly awful (where do they get these guys anyway!?!) – I certainly hope that I will now be able to access the Italian commentary from now on.
Among other things, it really helps me keep my ears attuned to the Italian language.

Thank you for providing this extremely useful information! I too do not like the English commentators. I could not find any way to watch Serie A with Italian commentary until I read this information.

Only English-language and Spanish-language are available for those competitions in the United States.

Yeah but unfortunately the option isn’t there for the Milan derby. These English commentators…. I don’t like to say the least

Italian announcers are far superior than the English ones. I still wonder the announcers they use are from DAZN Italia, Sky Italia, or former RAI Italia announcers. Excellent job so far by Paramount Plus.

Italian SAP option is available in the Napoli-Verona match as well as the Lazio Saleritana match as well. The Italian SAP option is usually only accessed through the LIVE TV option. I really hope this feature comes to Android phones, and tablets including Apple products as well.

What I noticed is that it is not available on-demand, only live. For Serie A, to watch it in Italian is the way to go! It is far cheaper and easier than in Italy. My Italian in-laws don’t have it this easy and cheap.

The Italian SAP option is available only through the LIVE TV option. However, we need smartphones to have this feature. It would also be nice to choose your Serie A team as your Avatar on the App and also get your match and Highlights on the main Paramount page.

It depends which device you’re using. See last few paragraphs of the article above. Some of them work no matter how you access the games through the app.
