Copa America TV schedule

We have the details of the next Copa America TV schedule for the competition that’ll be played in Ecuador.

TUDN/Univision currently holds the Spanish-language broadcasting rights in the U.S. for Copa America matches. They will air all 28 matches from the tournament, as well as women’s Copa América games and any Olympic qualifiers. And in English-language, we can be treated to live coverage from FOX Sports via games across FOX, FS1 and FS2.

With the acquisition of the Copa América rights, the deal positions the Spanish-language broadcaster as the go-to network for soccer in the summer. TUDN’s The Summer of Champions campaign kicks off with the UEFA Champions League Final in May and continues through the summer with competitions including (when applicable) the Liga MX Guardianes Final, CONCACAF Nations League, UEFA EURO, Copa América, CONCACAF Gold Cup, Campeón de Campeones, the MLS All-Star Game, and UEFA Super Cup.

The Peru-Paraguay game starting now (02-JUL) is in Spanish on UniMas rather than Univision

You can find the replays in the Fox Sports App for Apple TV and AndroidTV/FireTV under “International Soccer and Rugby Replays” by scrolling down in the Home tab.

Hi! Do you guys have any idea how to watch replays of Copa America on Fox Sports website or app? Are they not available for some licensing reasons? Also, do you know what channel the Copa America final is going to be on? I’m guessing FS1. Thanks!

    • Christopher Harris

      June 28, 2021 at 9:07 pm

Hi Liz, the 2021 final will be on FS1. To be honest, I don’t know if/when they have replays of games available on-demand. Your best bet is to check FS2, FS1 and FOX Soccer Plus. They often air a lot of reruns of games through the week.

@Earnie With Brazil being the host nation, the games for their group got moved to Sunday and Argentina’s group got moved to Monday.

Is ESPN+ still showing the games in Portuguese? I know last time around they were using SporTV Brasil commentators.

      June 4, 2021 at 8:46 am

No decision has been reached yet. This time, ESPN doesn’t have the rights. It’s FOX Sports (English) and Univision (Spanish).

During CONCACAF Nations League Finals, Univision annouced BRA–VEN on Univision/TUDN for Sunday 13 June.

ARG–CHI on FOX on a MONDAY?

With the schedule changes due to the competition being moved to Brazil, when can we expect updated channel assignments from Fox and Univision?

    • Christopher Harris

      June 3, 2021 at 6:02 pm

Hi Josh, we’ve updated the TV schedule with the re-arranged games, days and times. The TV schedules are current as of right now, but they’re always subject to change. If they change at all, we’ll be sure to update them.

    I live in Canada

    1. how can I watch Copa America in Canada?

    2. how can I watch south american world cup qualifiers CONMEBOL from Canada?

Fubo TV in Canada doesn’t seem to have the best club matches. For example they boast CONMEBOL South american world cup qualifiers, but I only saw african world cup qualifier matches in canada.

If I buy Fubol TV through my laptop and, can I transfer it to my TV screen?

  11. winston lee

    June 1, 2021 at 10:22 pm

It has all games scheduled. However, I do not see the Playoff games, nor the final game schedule? By the way, If I am going to buy Fubol TV and after Cope America over, can I cancel it and Do I have to pay any fine or any hidden striction do we need to know before we make the decision to buy it?

    • Christopher Harris

      June 2, 2021 at 6:41 am

It’ll have all of the games including the final games in the series. We just don’t know which teams it’ll be yet which is why they’re not listed.

After Copa America is over, you can cancel your subscription to fuboTV, yes. It’s a month-to-month contract.

Can anyone tell me why FIFA schedules all the tournaments at the same dates? I can see the Gold Cup and Copa America being scheduled at the same time, but why not allow the Women’s World Cup it’s own dates.

    • Monte Reed

      June 29, 2019 at 2:34 pm

You would think since WWC is the highest competition in women’s soccer that FIFA would not schedule other tournaments during it. But I’m sure these men’s teams would be playing friendlies during the WWC anyways, so might as well play something that is worth watching. I have enjoyed watching a lot of the Africa Cup of Nations, Copa America and WWC matches. Gold Cup does not interest me, mostly sub-par teams playing in mostly empty US stadiums.

The real reason that Copa America is not broadcast in USA is because USA futball is so incredibly bad. The mens team can only compete with the Caribbean teams.

    • Dude Love

      Yea, that’s the reason.

What’s a way to watch in English, HD and DVR recorded (record the game and watch after work) in the US? (I currently have Dish.)

    • Christopher Harris

      May 28, 2019 at 7:20 am

Right now, there isn’t an option. But stay tuned until ESPN’s official announcement to see whether they decide to air some of the games on TV (as well as all of the games on ESPN+).

  21. 3GamesToLove

    May 7, 2019 at 7:33 am

I see you removed “ESPN+” from each game’s listing. Are you less confident that deal actually got done?

    • Christopher Harris

      May 7, 2019 at 9:48 am

ESPN+ is listed for each of the matches as before.

It looks like ESPN are in the running . They are the only network that don’t have a big tournament this summer

  23. locofooty

    January 28, 2019 at 8:49 pm

Will Telemundo’s national signal finally go HD by then? If they didn’t do it for the WC, I’m not holding my breath.

Any idea why no US TV broadcaster has picked up the English-language rights to the 2019 Copa America?

    • Christopher Harris

      January 28, 2019 at 8:03 pm

The main reason is due to Copa America being played during the same month as the Women’s World Cup and the CONCACAF Gold Cup, so there’s less interest in the tournament this summer among English-language viewers.

      • Cari Pinkowski

        June 12, 2019 at 8:07 pm

No true lover of soccer would ever prefer to watch the Gold Cup over the Copa America. That’s ridiculous. Let’s see… Haiti vs. Bermuda or Argentina vs. Brazil? You choose.

        June 20, 2019 at 10:42 pm

This guy is nuts, I couldn’t care less for women soccer and instead of watching the Concacaf I rather watch kids playing down the street.
Copa America is the Oldest soccer tournament in the world.

Do not deprive the world of your great talent, because of one game. The stadium had over 80 thousand people. Because of you.
