CONCACAF Champions League

go90 adds rights to CONCACAF Champions League

Verizon’s streaming platform go90 has acquired the English-language rights to broadcast the CONCACAF Champions League to viewers in the United States.

An official announcement is expected later this week, but streaming coverage of the tournament begins tonight with two games scheduled:

• CS Herediano (Costa Rica) vs. Tigres (Mexico), 8pm ET
• Colorado Rapids (USA) vs. Toronto FC (Canada), 10pm ET

go90 is a completely free streaming service that is available to anyone in the United States. It’s available as a free download from the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store. Plus, if you’re a Verizon Wireless customer, you can watch as much soccer as you like without it counting against your data plan.

For the CONCACAF Champions League, soccer fans will be able to watch go90 via the mobile phone app, as well as on tablets and via the go90 website.

More CONCACAF Champions Cup games will be added to the go90 schedule in the upcoming days. Plus check the MLS TV schedule for the latest updates.

Representing the United States in this year’s competition will be Seattle Sounders, FC Dallas, New York Red Bulls and Colorado Rapids. Toronto FC will represent Canada.

Additional teams competing include Chivas, Club America, Tijuana, Saprissa, Olimpia and others.

The tournament is scheduled to run from February 20 to April 26.

Unfortunately, no English-language TV network has picked up the rights to the 2018 CONCACAF Champions League, so your best bet is to watch the games for free via go90. Meanwhile, Univision will show games in Spanish on their networks beginning today.

But if you put it on your IPhone and cast it to Apple TV, you get an English Language broadcast.

This is terrible news. Go90 is the worst streaming service out there
