ESPN networks and ABC will combine to televise more than 140 live hours of the UEFA European Football Championship 2020 beginning Friday, June 11 with the opening match in Rome, through the Final on Sunday, July 11 at historic Wembley Stadium in London.
ESPN will televise 40 UEFA EURO 2020 matches, ESPN2 will air six, and ABC will broadcast five matches (two group stage matches, two round of 16, and one quarterfinal) – the first UEFA European Football Championship matches on network television since 2008. The matches will stream live on both the ESPN and ABC apps. Additionally, matches on ABC will also simulcast on ESPN3.
ESPN+ will livestream all 51 matches via a second-screen experience with three different feeds – an aerial cam (tactical cam) and two additional feeds that provide fans with a combination of player and manager Iso-Cams, as well as audio from ESPN’s match commentators.

Cangialosi, who works for MSG so should be of excellent quality, is not! I think he tries to sound like Bob Costas, in both tone and inflection and it is grating. Not to mention some of his comments, ugh.

Andres Cordero and Danny Higginbotham are doing MLS game Atlanta vs Philadelphia. Kasey Keller and Don Hutchinson are just pundits on ESPNFC Daily, available only on ESPN+. Any of them would be much better as game commentators for EURO 2020 then Twellman, Cangialosi, Moreno and Donaldson.

I have actually turned off a couple games because I can’t stand to listen to the never-ending stream of negative comments coming out of Alejandro Moreno’s mouth. I want to hear good commentating, not criticism.

The comments by the English moron about all manner of this about Wales are not only insulting but totally uncalled for. An example was when he said that Italians were dressed by Armani and the Welsh outfit from the bottom of the suitcase. What the hell does that have to do with anything!!! And the English wonder why they are hated by the other three counties in the Union.

Never in my life have I been exposed to a more irritating commentator then Taylor Twellman. The complete lack of emotional understanding of the sport, with an insatious need to analyze EVERYTHING! Every move, every goal, every pass is relentlessly analyzed, to a point it becomes ridiculous! Completely unnecessary, over the top, killing the fun of the game, trying to turn a sports event into an expert analysis … Its a sport, a beacon of emotion for football fans, and we don’t need a commentator that will analyze every position on the field in every moment, we are not at an experts convention, jeeeez ….

I simply cannot watch (at least with the sound on) any game broadcasted by Cangialosi and Moreno, and I hate to say it, but Donaldson isn’t much better in my opinion. I really don’t know why ESPN is so hell-bent on foisting these guys on viewers when they have much better options (like Martin Tyler for today’s Italy-Switzerland game!) available through the world feed.

For the love of the game take @alejandro moreno off from any commentating job. it’s ridiculous.

ESPN has their commentary for Finland v. Russia, while on ESPN+ they haven’t switched from the world feed and so far we are being treated to Peter Drury and Andy Hinchcliffe.

Please dump Steve Cangialosi and Alejandro Moreno from your broadcast teams. They are aweful and the worst commentators on tv. Can’t listen to them. Have to turn volume off
