Stream GolTV With fuboTV PRO

bundesliga

Following on the heels of the news that ESPN will soon be available to cord cutters and soccer fans with the soon-to-be-renamed DishWorld service, another tech company has announced that it’s bringing soccer coverage to fans in the US with live streaming of GolTV, the soccer network that owns the rights to the Bundesliga, South American soccer (games from Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay), Brazilian club games, Benfica matches and the popular soccer show Futbol Mundial.

Until now, GolTV has only been available on a limited number of TV providers nationwide, so if you wanted to watch Bundesliga matches on GolTV and your cable or satellite company didn’t offer it, you either had to change TV providers or you were out of luck.

But now fubo.tv, which already offers coverage of Dortmund games, Benfica home matches, Ajax TV and Everton TV, has added GolTV to its growing list of soccer properties to its fuboTV PRO streaming service.

To begin watching GolTV on fuboTV PRO, sign up for free at the fuboTV website and start your free 14-day pass.  After the two weeks of free access has expired, you will then be charged $6.99 per month for unlimited viewing capabilities.  fuboTV is supported by Mac, Windows, iPad, iPhone, Android, and also on your television using Roku or Amazon Fire TV.

fubo.tv is a completely legal and legitimate service. Unlike illegal streaming sites, there is no malware, advertising or pop-up ads.

The year 2015 has already started off with a bang for soccer fans and cord cutters. With a combination of DishWorld (soon to be renamed Sling TV), FOX Soccer 2GO and fubo PRO, you’ll be able to see all of the major soccer leagues and tournaments except for the Premier League.

PS. If you’re wondering what other coverage GolTV provides, check out their TV schedule. Or better yet, subscribe to the free World Soccer Talk email newsletter that features TV schedules, news and more.

With fuboTV PRO, you’ll have access to:

• All Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund Bundesliga games,
• All Benfica home matches (live),
• On demand matches from Everton, Ajax and Dortmund,
• The weekly Hallo Bundesliga show featuring match highlights and news,
• Everton TV,
• The Daily Football Report news show,
• Benfica TV,
• And more.

Just like DishWorld, there’s no contract with fuboTV PRO. You’re on a month to month service, so the service is completely flexible and easy to use.

You can also get Goltv on Klowd TV for a subscription fee

Good point! I forgot about them. It’s $4.99 per month for Klowd TV but you don’t get access to other soccer channels like you do on fuboTV (Everton TV, Benfica TV, Ajax TV, Benfica home games, etc).

I found the FUBO app on Amazon fire, Installed and it streamed with clarity. I was impressed with the quality (Gol TV)

Gol tv is anyway showing every Bayern Munich as well almost every Dortmund game. So as a Fan of another Bundesliga Team, it makes more sense to sign up with the official club site and sign up for their club tv – this is legal and worldwide – cost monthly 4.95 Euro or as 1 year subscription 50 Euro. The games are not live but after the final whistle, you can watch the whole game on Demand. I personally have the Fohlen TV app for Android and stream it from my tablet to the Roku Box. Question is anyway how Fox treats the Bundesliga beginning next season. I fear a big chunk will end up in their Soccer2Go app for 20 Bucks a month.

I wonder how the streaming quality is. I might just sign up for the two week trial

So fuboTV PRO will not be streaming live Bundesliga games from GolTV, correct (ie it just acquired rights to stream some of the properties but only Benefica as far as streaming live games)?

fuboTV PRO will be streaming all Bundesliga games shown live on GolTV as well as Borussia Dortmund home and away games and Bayern Munich home and away games.

Benfica home games will be streamed too, not away.

These are all great service alternatives to consider, as cable/dish prices continue to soar. I’m just afraid that between DishWorld, FOX Soccer 2GO and fubo PRO (plus any non-soccer related subscriptions), we’ll soon be at the same amount of money we currently spend but spread out through multiple subscriptions.

For the 3 services mentioned above, that would be $36 per month — which is very reasonable considering you’d get La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Champions League, Ligue Un, FA Cup, MLS and other leagues.

With HBO planning on offering its HBO Go service as a standalone product in 2015, experts have predicted that it’ll be around the $20-$25/month price point. So once you add your other movie channels and sports channels, it’ll end up costing around the same as what you pay now but at least you won’t be stuck with a few hundred channels that you never watch.

The price of a la carte is that you must pick and choose your priorities. You can’t have it all and expect to pay less. The unfortunate thing is that the EPL seems out of reach unless Dish (Sling TV) arrives at a deal with Universal/Comcast/NBC when their existing contract is up for renewal… whenever that is.
