@Yespage. Your quote: “The internet sometimes just breeds complaining with some.”
Truer words haven’t been spoken. Especially this site! It’s full of ‘em.

Agreed. The coverage was good as were the games. The Internet sometimes just breeds complaining with some. Peacock has a few things that’d be nice to improve, but NBC’s coverage of the EPL hasn’t been much less than great.

By and large NBC is back to its best self…pre-match shows with in-depth discussions, the tactic board…so far Orenstein has been interesting. I kept saying the criticism of coverage for post-lockdown 2020 and all of last year was unfair – the individual match windows compressed time for analysis & discussion and COVD-restrictions likely impacted time in the studio as well.
Plus some compelling matches…Brentford v Arsenal was fantastic, as was Spurs v City. Even the Man U – Leeds and Norwich – Liverpool matches were free-flowing and fun to watch, even with lopsided scores. So great to have full stands again.

What a good weekend of Soccer for the EPL. Yep I’m an American so I call it soccer.
I watched NBC’s coverage from Friday through Sunday afternoon. Watched 6 matches full time and highlights of the others. I was happy with all of NBC’s coverage, allt he gang were lively and engaged other then Robbie M clearly having thing against Ole’ coaching Man U!! I do miss the old days when they would throw it to the announcers on the pitch for a couple of minutes before the game.
The Spurs Man city game was amazing and dripping with Drama. The Harry Kane situation will be worked out by the trade deadline of course $$$ but GREAT drama hearing the fans chant against him. must see tv!!

Oh god the EPL is back with fans its fantastic. Loving the new approach from the refs – let the game play! Hate s**** obviously but Tanguay had a fantastic game and just bullied Grealish and Sterling. Good to see players allowed to play close and physical like that again, it’s a contact sport and I’m sick of so many players looking for pens. Grealish should have stayed up on that early foul, he was through but he goes down looking for a pen. Give it a few weeks and the thespians of the league will figure out they should just play football. Pep is starting to look balder and balder by the day.
NBC has done very well do far. David was fantastic on Friday, and I’m not sure how anyone can not enjoy White, Dixon and Le Saux. No need for the peacock this weekend, as it should be.

Can’t believe Arsenal lost on the first matchday. NBC and their coverage is outstanding even their not showing all their matches on the main networks.

Well-prepared Arlo White’s commentary is just fine and blends seamlessly with the insights and lighthearted banter of Lee Dixon and Graeme Le Saux.
Thanks for providing the commentary pairings, Kyle.

I was just comparing Bundesliga on ESPN with EPL on NBCSN. The screen visuals in NBCSN are very polluted compared to the clean interface of Bundesliga.

Where is information on goal rush for multi game 10 am Saturday kickoffs? Will it be available via peacock as it had been previously on NBC Sports Gold?

As far as I can tell, there’s no Goal Rush from NBC today. It’s most likely that they want people to sign up for Peacock instead.

Looks good to me.
Here’s to the season being as good as the Brentford v Arse game was. So much for the play-off winner being the whipping boys. Brentford looked great – even it was against such a poor team.

15 minutes of Karen Carney’s unlistenable voice on the World Feed had me scrambling for alternatives. John Murray’s terrific commentary on 5 live paired with the pictures went down perfectly.

Ornstein is a really great get for NBC. That’s a move that seems to answer some of the criticism levied against them this past year.

I don’t care what anyone says… Arlo White, Lee Dixon, and Graeme Le Saux are great team. All the criticism of Arlo is not warranted. He thoroughly enjoys the game and his enthusiasm shows. Nothing wrong with that.
The atmosphere at BrentFord is just fantastic.

Oh no. Of 10 premier league matches this weekend, arlo white is doing 3 of them. The scary part is he has had 10 weeks of prep digging up inane statistics.
